The captain of the ship is speaking to a passenger. The ship is about to set sail, and the passenger wants to know about the engines of the boat. This question excites the captain, who loves talking about the mechanics of the boat, so he describes the engines, cylinders, navigation systems, and other features of the ship to the passenger. The passenger is actually an engineer himself and he tells this to the captain. They get along very well. Soon the captain will offer the passenger a tour of the ship, and the passenger will be excited to see the boat. He is on a business trip all alone, so it's fun for him to meet new people and get to travel, even though he's getting paid to do it.
